Bill Sciolla first started his career at Pittsburgh International Telecommunications Inc. in 1985, shortly after the company’s inception, and he played an integral role in building it into one of the largest privately held teleports in the world. He was instrumental in the negotiations and implementation of the Viacom and Showtime disaster recovery networks, and his consistent positive performance in engineering and technical operations helped the company grow and maintain strong relationships with clients from every major continent.
When PSSI Global Services acquired the Pittsburgh International Teleport and Pittsburgh Videotech Center in 2017, Bill stepped into the role of Vice President and General Manager, PSSI International Teleport. In this position, he oversees the engineering team and day-to-day operations of the PSSI International Teleport (PIT) and PIT studio. His knowledge of the satellite industry, strong customer focus and understanding of the dynamics in telecommunications technology make him a tremendous asset to the PSSI Global Services team.
