PSSI isn’t getting much of a Thanksgiving break. But we are very thankful for all of the amazing clients who keep us so busy and for our dedicated engineers and project managers who will be spending this holiday on the road.
As usual, we have plenty of football in the works:
- We’ve got back-to-back games for the SEC on CBS. We’ll have a truck in Columbia, Missouri, for the Arkansas vs. Missouri game on Friday afternoon. Then, we’re in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for the big Auburn vs. Alabama game on Saturday.
- It’s a big weekend for us in the middle of the country. In addition to our presence at the Missouri game, we have trucks and engineers in: Ames, Iowa; Manhattan, Kansas; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Austin, Texas
- Plus, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, we’re doing a seven-channel at-home transmission of the Cincinnati vs. Tulsa matchup.
- We also have more multiplexed transmissions in Blacksburg, Virginia, for the University of Virginia vs. Virginia Tech game and in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, for North Carolina State vs. University of North Carolina. These are both 10-path transmissions via satellite.
- Of course, we’re busy on both coasts. We’re in East Hartford for Tulane at University of Connecticut. And one of our Los Angeles engineers will take a nice drive up the coast to cover the University of San Diego vs. Cal Poly game in lovely San Luis Obispo.
- A little farther up the coast, we’ll have a truck at Memorial Stadium in Berkeley for the UCLA Bruins vs. California Golden Bears game.
- It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without Dallas Cowboys football. We’ll be at AT&T Stadium for the Redskins vs. Cowboys game on Thanksgiving day.
Plus, basketball season is coming, and golf season just keeps on going!
- We’re looking forward to a full winter’s worth of basketball coverage. This weekend, we’re covering the Emerald Coast Classic in Niceville, Florida. And we have many more games on the horizon.
- There’s also still golf to be played. Starting on Sunday, we’ll have a truck in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, for a week’s worth of Golf Channel news.
A couple of senior engineers are racking up some more airline miles. Tracy Michaels is headed to Melbourne, Australia, for a UFC Fight Night. Jim Flowers will be heading out to Hong Kong soon for the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). We do this event every year, and Jim is very excited to see his K-Pop heroes in action!
From all of us at PSSI, happy Thanksgiving!
